We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Nursing / Social Work interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Adelaide SA.

Job Description

Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks).
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
  • Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
  • Work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
  • Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Complete a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Social Work.
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Current SA Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
