The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this permanent, hands-on role involves fostering and growing internal and external relationships to ensure high levels of customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing credit claims and liaising with other departments
  • Handling a large portfolio of small and large national accounts
  • Creating and setting up new accounts
  • Managing credit queries with internal and external departments
  • Maintaining system data accuracy
  • Identifying and flagging at-risk customers
  • Phone and email collections
  • Allocations and bank reconciliations
  • Raising credit notes and processing returns
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
About You

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in an AR Officer role, with a proven track record of developing strong customer relationships with key vendors and suppliers. You will demonstrate a proactive approach, excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively. Additional skills include:
