Accounts Receivable Coordinator

  • Process and research invoices, returns, and credits
  • Maintain debtor records and analyze collections
  • Update and summarize receivables
  • Assist collections, customers, and sales/marketing departments with invoice or shipping verification requests

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with Finance and Sales teams to maintain accounts receivable
  • Make telephone collections on overdue debtors, aiming for first call resolution
  • Compile and process information on all assigned debtors on aged trial balance
  • Ensure accurate billing for goods and services
  • Issue invoices periodically and distribute electronically or by mail
  • Communicate with customers and colleagues to answer questions
  • Resolve disputes with debtors
  • Request and negotiate payment arrangements professionally
  • Prepare and submit statements
  • Allocate payments daily on bank statements
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service
  • Work towards team and individual KPIs
  • Process customer account applications, credit notes, and credit card payments
  • Support Accounts Payable backup functions as needed
  • Enter supplier invoices accurately and timely
  • Conduct supplier payment runs when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Safety
  • Promote compliance with EHS systems and regulations
  • Support incident reporting, including near misses and damages

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable in a fast-paced environment with >500 active accounts
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, able to work under time constraints
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and data entry; working knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to meet deadlines, organize priorities, and coordinate tasks
  • Flexible, with a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Great attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Focus on achieving targets
  • Maintain confidentiality and trustworthiness
