We are seeking two highly skilled and motivated Virtual Solutions Engineers to join our team, each with a specialized focus in Omnissa technology. These roles will support, engineer, and optimize virtual endpoint environments using legacy VMware platforms, with one role emphasizing solution architecture and policy design, and the other focusing on infrastructure engineering and server configuration.

Role 1: Solutions-Focused Virtual Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement virtual desktop solutions using Omnissa (legacy VMware) technologies.
  • Develop and manage policies for virtual endpoints, including access control, user experience, and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Utilize HPVS, Citrix, and Gateway technologies to support virtual environments.
  • Automate tasks and workflows using PowerShell and SOAP APIs.
  • Provide troubleshooting for virtual desktop issues.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and policy-based management.
  • Experience with Omnissa (VMware Horizon), Citrix, and HPVS.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, SOAP APIs).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT and business teams.

Compensation:

$60/hr to $64/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
