The Role: Administration Assistant

The role is to assist our administration, accounts and legal teams to undertake diverse administrative tasks, including:

  1. Office support: preparing and managing outgoing mail, maintaining inventory of office and kitchen supplies, ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and office common areas and providing reception coverage to cover breaks and leave periods, as needed. Also assisting to co-ordinate and set up team webinars and providing technical and logistical support.
  2. Legal teams support: assisting legal teams with administrative tasks such as opening and closing of matters, scanning and printing, archiving electronic and physical completed matters as well as delivery of correspondence or court documents.
  3. Accounts team support: Provide temporary coverage for fundamental daily accounts tasks during team member absences, including receipting, EFT payment processing and processing invoices as well as banking.
  4. Safe custody: assist with management of safe custody items including reviewing and releasing items.
  5. Assisting the Office Manager: with various projects, contributing to the efficient operation of the firm.

  1. Possess administrative experience (desirable);
  2. Have the ability to accurately manage your workload in a fast-paced environment;
  3. Have highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
  4. Have meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively;
  5. Have a proactive mindset and be resourceful with a strong work ethic;
  6. Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  7. Desire to work in an office environment with career development opportunities within a growing firm.

Whilst we prefer a candidate with administration experience, we are open to exploring candidates with no experience but who possess an eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
