Overview

Occupational Therapist Grad Program 2026 — Join Better Rehab for the Occupational Therapist Grad Program 2026 role in Darwin, commencing January 2026. You will be supported across all steps of your journey to develop your clinical expertise across the NDIS and the community.

As an OT in our team, you will help participants from age 6 to 65, with a range of conditions including neurological conditions, autism spectrum disorder and psychosocial needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from clients\' homes to day centres, parks and our clinic rooms.
  • Collaborate with a committed multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions for clients.

Support and Development

Our program starts with a full week of graduate-specific induction sessions, including a comprehensive introduction to community practice, the NDIS and life at Better Rehab.

  • Support:Colleagues who support you, including a buddy from last year\'s graduate cohort.
  • Supervision: 1:1 discipline-specific supervision to navigate all areas of working with Better Rehab and your caseload, including clinical support within the NDIS.
  • Ongoing Training: 6 months of induction, training and upskilling.
  • Study Leave: 4 full days paid study leave per calendar year.
  • Resources: Laptop, phone and ready-to-use therapy and assessment resources.

About You

We are seeking clinicians with a genuine interest in supporting participants with disability who strive to improve and advocate for better care, treating participant goals as missions rather than checkbox tasks.

You Will Also Hold
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with a graduation date in 2025 or January 2026.
  • A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
  • An NDIS check, a Working with Children Check, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
