Overview

Westpac is recruiting a Business Development Manager, Third Party to join the SME Business Banking team. This is a SME-focused BDM opportunity with third-party and direct origination, offering a flexible mix of on-road, in-office and work-from-home arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Originate and manage lending opportunities up to $5 million, actively engaging with a wide network of brokers and referral partners while nurturing direct client relationships.
  • Drive business growth by combining strong relationship-building skills with deep credit and analytical expertise.
  • Make swift, confident lending decisions to deliver a seamless experience for customers and brokers.
  • Partner with internal specialists to support a diverse portfolio of SME clients and provide end-to-end service for funding needs — from business expansion and equipment financing to property transactions and complex requirements.

  • Proven experience in business banking or commercial lending
  • Strong credit analysis and decision-making skills
