DetailsLocation: Athens, Greece
Duration: Minimum 4 weeks
Cost: from 2135 Euros. Fee includes all food, accommodation, pre-departure and in-country support, orientation and all project-related activities. Does not include flights, travel insurance, personal spending, visas or vaccinations.
Responsibilities- Support sustainable fashion practices by assisting with the production of clothing made from eco-friendly materials.
- Promote upcycling by transforming old garments into new fashion pieces, reducing waste and conserving resources.
- Provide ethical employment for refugees and survivors of human trafficking, helping to create social inclusion and empowerment.

Greece, like many European countries, hosts numerous fast fashion companies whose operations often contribute to pollution and exploitation, particularly in developing nations where garment production is outsourced. As a volunteer, you'll actively support efforts to create a more sustainable fashion industry by promoting ethical production and consumption.
A key focus of the program is upcycling fashion, where you'll transform used garments into new, stylish items, reducing waste and giving clothing a second life. You will also assist in providing ethical employment opportunities for refugees and survivors of human trafficking, helping to foster social inclusion and support vulnerable populations.
