Senior HR Advisor ASP4 Role at HR Partners by Randstad

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a forward-thinking HR professional to contribute to the transformation of a values-driven Victorian Government Statutory Authority.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will join a growing team in Melbourne CBD, playing a key role in supporting employees and driving people initiatives. They will be instrumental in continuously adapting and driving innovative processes to deliver effective outcomes for the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policies and Procedures: Lead the implementation of policies, procedures, and systems that align with the organisation's new strategy.
  • Generalist HR Services: Provide a full range of human resources services, including employee support and HR projects.
  • HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects that drive process innovation and improvement.
  • Research and Document Preparation: Research and prepare documents for review and implementation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • ER Processes: Support HR Business Partners in managing Employee Relations (ER) processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Implement and maintain accurate reporting, data collation, and analysis, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Policy Application and Best Practices: Apply policies and HR best practices to develop practical solutions that meet the needs of the organisation and its stakeholders.
  • Legislative Compliance: Respond promptly to legislative changes, ensuring the organisation remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an HR Advisor, particularly in the Victorian Public Sector, Not-for-profit, higher education, or healthcare sectors is highly desirable.
  • HR Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of policies, procedures, and HR practices in complex environments, with adaptability and effectiveness in an agile and dynamic work environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
