Are you passionate about empowering women and providing holistic, trauma-informed support? We're recruiting a dedicated and experienced Case Manager to join a well-established community-based health and wellbeing service supporting women across the Illawarra.
About The Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality case management to women navigating complex challenges including domestic and family violence, mental health concerns, housing instability, and more. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary health team providing practical support, safety planning, risk assessments, and referrals in a respectful, client-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based casework to women impacted by DFV and related complex issues
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, develop case and safety plans
- Provide intake assessments and crisis intervention support
- Collaborate closely with health professionals to ensure wraparound care
- Maintain accurate records and support ongoing service evaluation
- Relevant qualifications and experience in case management
- Extensive knowledge of DFV and intersecting challenges (e.g., AOD, mental health, homelessness)
- Familiarity with legal, housing, and support systems in NSW
- Strong advocacy, referral, and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to feminist values and culturally responsive practice
- Fluency in a second language
- Training in the Safe & Together model
Working With Children Check, Criminal History Check, COVID vaccination, and a NSW Driver's Licence.
