Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship

Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for a 3rd or 4th year apprentice to work with an Adelaide family-owned business, committed to customer satisfaction & employee dedication, based in Cavan.
A driven company with high quality standards of work, upholding core values of Integrity-Loyalty-Quality-Ingenuity. This is a full time apprenticeship. A work vehicle will be supplied for work-related travel.
What does a Diesel Mechanic do?
As a Diesel Mechanic Apprentice you will perform a large variety of work on Light commercial, Heavy vehicles and Mobile Plant. You may also undertake the following:
- Plenty of opportunity for Field Work
- Hydraulic repairs
- Component rebuilding
- Welding, Electrical, Maintenance repairs and servicing
- Troubleshooting
- Work effectively within a team in an automotive workplace
Position Requirements
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- Be able to use initiative and work well in a team
- Must hold a current drivers licence.
