About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Python, and logical code rule writing to ensure data integrity across critical business domains. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing data quality across various domains, such as transaction monitoring and transaction screening, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement SQL and Python-based data quality rules to monitor and enhance data integrity.
  2. Write and optimize logical code rules in SQL and Python to ensure data quality and compliance.
  3. Identify and document Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and assess data quality across multiple domains.
  4. Develop and implement data quality monitoring frameworks to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  5. Assess and mitigate data quality issues related to transaction monitoring, screening, and other critical data domains.
  6. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure adherence to data quality standards and improve data governance.
  7. Participate in creating and improving data quality processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data quality rule writing.
  2. Proven experience developing logical code rules to assess and improve data quality.
  3. Experience with metadata management, data quality tools and platforms.
  4. Experience with transaction monitoring, transaction screening, or other critical data areas.
  5. Familiarity with data governance tools, metadata management, and ETL processes.
  6. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to identify data quality gaps and implement solutions.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  8. Experience in data governance, data quality frameworks, and identifying and managing Critical Data Elements (CDEs) would be a plus.
  9. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data governance tools.
  10. Knowledge of regulatory data requirements and their impact on data quality.
  11. Experience with data visualization tools for monitoring and reporting data quality.
