I am seeking an experienced Cloud Data Analyst to take up a role in Sydney for 6 months with a view of extension. This will be a Hybrid Work environment with 3 days PW onsite / 2 remote (flexible).
Your day at NTT
- Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various sources for cloud cost analysis.
- Transform, merge and enrich raw data exerts from cloud platforms into business actionable recommendations.
- Assist in the creation of governance frameworks, policies, and automated processes for cloud resource management and compliance.
- Collaborate with finance and business units to ensure tagging compliance and enhance cost transparency.
- Design interactive cost and compliance dashboards, reports and visualisations to communicate cloud insights effectively.
- Document cloud processes, guidelines, and policies, along with FinOps practices, to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud costs.
What would make you a good fit for this role?
- Experience in cloud governance, FinOps, or compliance roles, with a deep understanding of cloud platforms (specifically AWS, then Azure and GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting or automation tools to improve governance processes.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, compliance, or related fields required to be able to ramp up quickly on the project.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL processes, as well as transformation, merging, loading and interpretation of the data.
- Expertise in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Basic Python for transformation and load, or similar) for data analysis and automation of reports.
- Experience with transformation from JSON files to CSV and Excel.
- Experience with DataDog exports would be a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex findings, relay findings with multiple stakeholders to drive change while increasing cloud compliance.
