Hamilton Island, in the heart of the tropical Whitsundays, is Australia's favourite island holiday destination. Beach Club, located on beautiful Catseye Beach, is Hamilton Island's exclusive, adults only boutique hotel. It offers guests luxurious accommodation and access to a private beach and is equipped with a signature restaurant and cocktail bar.

Where you'll make an impact
  • Provide a sense of welcome and departure to all guests and visitors
  • Handle all guest luggage in an efficient and secure manner
  • Be aware of all daily activities, special events and VIP arrivals
  • Assist with any arrivals and departures processing and transfers
  • Ensure all transport vehicles and buggies are maintained in a safe, clean and operable condition
  • Respond to all guest queries in a courteous manner
What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role.

To be successful, you will need
  • 6-12 months within a porter position in a 4-5 Star Hotel or Resort
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
  • An ability to treat each guest with a personal, attentive and refined level of seamless 5-star service
  • A current open manual QLD drivers licence
  • Ability to obtain a Restricted Drivers Authorisation (RDA)
