Overview

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is one of Australia's leading public healthcare providers. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Research Office Associate to join the RMH Office for Research, located in the Parkville Precinct in Melbourne. The Office oversees all aspects of research across RMH and supports our precinct research community and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide an immersive work experience in all aspects of human clinical research with a focus on ethics, governance and contracting
  • Be a strong candidate aiming to enter the human research sector
  • Substantially train in regulatory and legal requirements applied to human research ethics, institutional research governance, and operational compliance
  • Actively engage with RMH research personnel and with companies developing new therapeutic goods in a supportive, service‑driven context
About You
  • You will have an outgoing personality, be efficient and very interested in a career in clinical research
  • Demonstrated a proactive approach to service and an interest in making new therapeutic goods available to health consumers
  • Have an interest in health services, compliance and not be discouraged by process and procedures
  • Are proficient with software, electronic communications, and database entry with immaculate attention to detail
  • Are prepared to work the majority of your time onsite
