PRINCIPAL QUALITY AND SAFEGUARDING OFFICER

We are seeking a Principal Quality and Safeguarding Officer to join our team on a full-time term basis.

About the Role
  • This is a critical role within our department, responsible for leading the implementation of quality assurance, quality governance and client risk mechanisms.
  • You will provide expert clinical, evidence-based strategic advice related to quality and safeguarding, contributing to the analysis and development of departmental practice, policies and procedures.
Your Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement of practice, including leadership of complex change projects.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement programs, projects and policy development initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports, memos, letters and briefings at an Executive and Ministerial level.
Your Qualifications
  • A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing concise and comprehensive written and verbal briefings and advice on complex issues.
