Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to meet project objectives.
  • Prepare estimates and provide technical design support during tender processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers, oversee factory inspections, and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Participate in on-site commissioning and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to meet project objectives.
  • Prepare estimates and provide technical design support during tender processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers, oversee factory inspections, and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Participate in on-site commissioning and testing activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support internal systems development.
Experience:
  • Power generation experience
  • Grid connected and off-grid power generation applications
  • HV and LV experience
  • HV competence, including primary and secondary designs
  • Extra low voltage DC systems
  • Cable sizing
  • Understanding and experience with Earthing systems and earth grid designs
  • Understanding and experience with Lighting systems and Lightning protection
  • CPEng and RPEQ or working towards
  • Leadership, mentor junior engineers, problem solving ability
  • Design of electrical systems

  • Qualifications:Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
  • Skills:Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
  • Experience:Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
  • Attributes:Accountability, initiative, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Essential:Driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate as required.
