Overview

As a Service Technician you will be a key member of the Crosscom Technical Services team, working with clients across industry sectors, understanding their needs and requirements to set them up for success. You will service and maintain on both new and existing clients, bringing subject-matter expertise on Crosscom technology and advising on utilization, optimization and productive recommendations to support business development goals.

Responsibilities
  • Service and maintenance on client systems (new and existing).
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on Crosscom technology and advise on utilization and optimization.
  • Provide consultative support to meet client needs and aid business development goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure productive and timely resolutions.
  • Available for on-call roster.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Certifications in Electronics & Communications, RF engineering or related field.
  • Experience in a client-facing environment in Radio, Wireless IP Networking or Microwave technology (Analogue, P25 & DMR experience highly favorable).
  • Experience with UHF, VHF, CELL, WiFi, wiring looms, lights, antennas and other RF-related products.
  • Experience in a Technician/Service-based role with a proven track record of high-level customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, fault finding and decision-making abilities; able to respond to time-critical client needs.
  • Availability for on-call roster.
