About Our Client
Our client is a medium-sized organisation in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. Located South of Sydney, the company is renowned for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering top-notch products to its diverse client base.
Job Description
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs and price schedules.
- Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop sales team.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
- Coordinate liaison between sales department and other related units.
- Analyse and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Assist other departments within the organisation to prepare manuals and technical publications.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'General Manager' should have:
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- A degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
