The Role

Our Port Hedland branch is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy North West team. You will deliver high quality workmanship on Volvo, UD & Mack products through scheduled maintenance and repairs, and assist on the 24 hour breakdown roster. In a dealership environment you will have access to diagnostic information, product specialists, specialist tooling, and ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your skills continue to develop as the product evolves.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered you must demonstrate experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Auto-Electrician, as well as:

  • Relevant trade certificate in Heavy Vehicle
  • MC Licence (highly desirable)
  • Strong fault diagnosing skills using computer systems
  • Excellent time management
  • A positive and proactive approach to your work
  • The ability to work well within a small team environment
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in a retail environment and on Mack, UD and/or Volvo product is highly desirable
