Disability Support Worker - Ringwood / Ferntree Gully

About The Role

We're looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to support clients in 24/7 care in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne – Ferntree Gully, Balwyn, Ringwood.


You'll support clients who feel most comfortable with clear boundaries, structured routines, and clear communication. You'll need to be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding. A strong listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you'll be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.


No two days are the same Your support might look like:

  • Supporting with personal care tasks like showering, toileting and dressing
  • Getting out into the community to do activities the clients enjoy
  • Helping prepare simple, nutritious meals
  • Providing transport and mobility assistance
  • Helping out with a few light cleaning jobs around the home when needed
  • Assist with medication management

There are a range of available shifts – mornings, afternoons and overnight shifts.


What You'll Need
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) is a must
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Valid driver's license and your own reliable, insured car
  • Willingness to complete all client-specific training before you begin (we'll guide you through it)
