About The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Risk Analyst to join the Credit and Risk team. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the role of the Risk Analyst is an integral part of the Credit and Risk Division within Summerland.
The role will assist Summerland Bank to manage risk whilst implementing strategy for growth and sustainability and designing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework for Summerland.

You are open to continuous learning in risk management and be identifying and implementing innovative ways to improve the Risk Management Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage risk whilst implementing strategy for growth and sustainability.
- Provide oversight and advice on risk across Summerland, including the design and maintenance of the risk management framework for Summerland.
- Act as a support to management and staff to build their understanding of Risk and how it applies to their roles.
- Risk Management in the Finance Industry.
- Report design and preparation with analytical skills for interpreting and presenting.
- High-level written and verbal communication with stakeholders internal and external (including auditors/consultants).
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and ability to translate into risk management processes.
