Vice President Corporate Controller

Based in Central Houston, this is an opportunity to join a 6B+ private industrial manufacturing and distribution company reporting to the CFO, as VP, Corporate Controller.

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and dependability of the company's financial records and reporting. This involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, establishing and maintaining robust internal controls over the financial reporting compliance program, and playing a key role in standardizing and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

·Ensure that the organization has best-in-class financial accounting processes and systems to achieve organizational current and future goals, while mitigating financial and operational risk.

·Serve as a strategic financial business partner to the C-level / executive team.

·Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting to ensure efficient and accurate recording of all transactions, managing a globally distributed team.

·Develop, implement, and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company

assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Required Experience:

·Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

·A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of success in increasingly senior positions.

·Knowledge of SOX, GAAP, SAP
