  • Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help
In addition, you will need
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
The role
  • In the role of Home Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services, such as general housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
