Where you\'ll be working

There is an abundance of lifestyle benefits available to you in country NSW and you will be amazed at what you will have access to - and it all comes without the queues and crowds of a big city. Forget about sitting in traffic for hours and paying for parking, live in the city you\'ll be minutes away from work (perhaps even close enough to walk or cycle) and even if you live on a property outside of Goulburn or in one of the neighbouring villages, it\'s still a much shorter trip than big city living. That\'s more time for family, friends and recreation. Goulburn is 45 minutes from Canberra, 2hrs to the beach and 2hrs from Sydney.

What You\'ll Be Doing

The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, to provide person-centered care, in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve people focused quality care.

Selection Criteria

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner.
• Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
• Knowledge of and ability to work within a person-centered approach to nursing with a willingness to embrace change in the delivery of care.
• Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and evidence-based practice with recent clinical experience relevant to the position.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases

This is a Category A position. Please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and are compulsory for NSW Staff who enter Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
