The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our Melbourne-based team. You will lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow implementations across modules such as ITSM, CSM, FSM, and EAM, focusing on third-party integrations, IAM, and RBAC. Collaborate with stakeholders to support digital transformation aligned with enterprise goals.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Platform Design & Development: Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, develop workflows, forms, and UI policies, and manage platform upgrades following best practices.
  2. Integration & Automation: Implement integrations with systems like SailPoint, Jira, SCCM, Azure, GCP using APIs and automate processes with Flow Designer and scripts.
  3. IAM & RBAC Implementation: Manage IAM, develop RBAC policies, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  4. Platform Administration & Support: Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and document processes.
  5. Collaboration & Leadership: Work with analysts and project managers, participate in Agile practices, mentor juniors, and promote best practices.
  6. Agile Delivery & Collaboration: Engage in sprint activities, refine user stories, and contribute to process improvements.
Key Skills
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS within ServiceNow.
  • Scripting expertise in Glide, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules.
  • Understanding of relational databases like MySQL for performance and reporting.
Certifications
  • ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications.
  • Certifications in CSM, FSM, or EAM are highly advantageous.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team collaboration, mentoring, and adaptability.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Additional certifications or coursework in ServiceNow, cloud computing, or security (e.g., CISSP) is beneficial.
