Role details
  • Salary $29.15 per hour (plus casual loading if applicable) + 12% Superannuation
  • Part Time and Casual Opportunities Available
  • Work across Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading
Responsibilities
  • The position will provide a high level of customer service and fitness instruction in a safe and hygienic environment and in accordance with industry standards, to assist in the improvement of patrons' health and wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate and coach patrons on safe exercise methods and techniques.
  • Deliver clear, accurate information and guidance to patrons and other employees.
Shifts and scheduling
  • The role may be required to work shifts anywhere within Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading's ordinary spread of hours:
  • Monday to Friday - 4.30am – 11.00pm
  • Saturday - 4.30am – 8.30pm
  • Sunday and public holidays - 7.00am – 8.30pm
  • Part Time shifts available by location:
    • Aqualink Nunawading: Thursday 1900-2200, Friday 1900-2200, Saturday 1700-2000, Sunday 1700-2000
    • Aqualink Box Hill: Monday 1300 – 1700, Saturday 0745 – 1045, Sunday 1400 -1700
    About you
    • Sound exercise prescription and consultation skills
    • Ability to demonstrate and coach patrons on safe exercise methods and techniques
    • Good oral and written communication skills for positive interaction with patrons and staff
    • Friendly, enthusiastic and professional approach
