About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join the team at Grid Locks Locksmiths' in Queanbeyan East, NSW. As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and the chance to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the business, including resource planning, project scheduling, and quality control
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  3. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard
  4. Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians and support staff
  5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience in a similar operations management role, preferably within the construction industry
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  5. Knowledge of and understanding of SCEC requirements (Hardware and Keying)
  6. Experience with Service M8 (optional)
  7. White Card, Asbestos Awareness, Silica Awareness Cards
  8. SCEC Locksmith (or ability to obtain)
  9. Security License (or ability to obtain)
  10. Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
