Overview

We are seeking an Engineering / Design Manager to join our Façade Engineering team in Adelaide. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving technical excellence, business growth, and client satisfaction across a diverse portfolio of new build and remediation projects.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and delivering façade engineering projects from concept through to construction, ensuring high technical standards and compliance
  • Providing technical leadership, mentoring and professional development for your team
  • Supporting regional strategic planning, financial management, and business growth initiatives
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Actively participating in industry events, networking opportunities, and knowledge-sharing forums to enhance Inhabit's profile
  • Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and project outcomes
Qualifications
  • Qualifications in Civil Engineering / Architecture (or related field), with demonstrated experience in the facades industry
  • Proven experience as a design / engineering manager within a consultancy environment
  • Proactive and displays initiative, responding effectively to changing needs
  • Strong problem solving and conducts thorough analysis before making decisions
  • Strong organisational skills to manage design administration, compliance and documentation within identified project deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
