About the Role

As an OSHC Coordinator, you'll lead your own service, providing trusted before and after school care and holiday programs that support local families. You'll:

  • Design and deliver engaging programs for children 5 - 12 years of age.
  • Build positive relationships as the face of TheirCare in your school community.
  • Mentor and support your team to develop their skills and growth within the industry.
  • Oversee compliance and administrative tasks to keep your service running smoothly.

Hours: 7:00am – 9:00am and 2:00pm – 6:00pm, plus 3 weekly admin hours. Monday to Friday only — no weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage OSHC service operations in your school community.
  • Design and implement age-appropriate programs for children aged 5–12.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all activities.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the program team and support staff development.

About You

You are passionate about making a difference in children's lives and thrive on building strong, positive relationships. Experience in childcare or OSHC is preferred but not essential.

You Will Have

  • Completed or currently studying an ACECQA-recognised Diploma qualification (Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar). Check www.acecqa.gov.au for details relevant to your state.
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check for your state.
  • Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting, relevant food safety and mandatory reporting certificates, and a National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.
