About The Facility – Department Of AnaesthesiaThe Department of Anaesthesia, Perioperative and Pain Medicine employs approximately 70 Anaesthetic Consultants and 24 Anaesthetic Registrars. We support 17 operating theatres and a number of 'off the floor' locations. Clinical Anaesthetic services include Regional Anaesthesia and Ultrasound, Obstetric and Paediatric Services, Cardiac Anaesthesia (including Transoesophageal Echocardiography) and a benchmark perioperative service (including CPET). The department has a strong commitment to excellence in clinical, education and research activities and a focus on preparing senior trainees for consultant practice.
About The Role – Accredited Anaesthetic Trainee (maternity Leave Cover)Applications are invited for the position of accredited anaesthetic trainee to cover a 12-month maternity leave position from February 2026 to February 2027. Applicants must be ANZCA accredited or eligible. If you have the qualifications and aptitude along with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to improving patient care, this may be the role for you.
