What's My Job?

You're the Revenue and Payables Specialist and you report to the Finance Manager.

You will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, expense processing, and general finance support. You play a crucial role in streamlining internal processes, training our teams on financial systems, and assisting with financial reporting.

A Day in the Life
  • Complete bank reconciliations with precision and timeliness
  • Process supplier invoices, staff expenses, and credit card reconciliations
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and issue client invoices according to contracts and billing schedules
  • Manage cash receipting and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Partner with Business Management teams to monitor client financial performance
  • Support month-end processes including journals for revenue, accruals, and prepayments
  • Conduct timesheet audits and ensure compliance with agency policies
  • Collaborate with client teams on pipeline revenue forecasts versus actuals
  • Assist with balance sheet and job-level reconciliations

  • You have a knack for maintaining accuracy while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Your communication skills shine when working with suppliers, clients, and internal teams, and you're comfortable handling sensitive financial information with the utmost confidentiality
  • You're proactive in resolving discrepancies and following up on outstanding items, and you genuinely enjoy collaborating with others to ensure the financial health of the business
  • You're not just about the numbers but also about building relationships that support the financial operations of our agency
Other things that will make you excel in this role
  • 3-5 years in a finance role, within an advertising agency is a plus
  • Experience using accounting software and strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain internal controls and comply with audit requirements
