Overview of role:

Join Coliban Water as our Finance Systems Lead, where you'll lead strategic and operational management of our Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials platform. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure accurate and reliable financial data, optimise key processes across accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and maintain the integrity of our finance systems.

You will drive system improvements, manage the backlog, and align platform capabilities with evolving business needs. As the Financial Management Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a key role in implementing and enhancing Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials as part of our Core Capability Uplift initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Finance Systems Lead, you'll be accountable for:
  • Provide technical knowledge of financial IT systems and provide advice on continuous improvements including interdependent systems
  • Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of the data contained in, and functionality of, Coliban Water's Financial platforms
  • Collaborate with finance leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, procurement, accounts, and other key financial processes
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements such as intelligent automation, predictive analytics, or anomaly detection in financial operations

About you:
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Systems Lead or Product Manager within an enterprise financial system environment
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • CPA or CA qualification preferred
  • Hands-on implementation experience (Oracle preferred)

Salary:

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5 $115,162 - $139,851 + Superannuation + superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
