Overview

Assistant Manager - Tax role at Nexia Edwards Marshall NT. As part of our Tax & Business Consulting Services division, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for driving exceptional client service in the preparation of tax advice and tax returns, financial statements and business advice for individuals and a variety of business structures. This includes business improvements and tax strategy advice. You will report to a Senior Manager, actively partner with clients to reach their potential, and be based in our Darwin CBD office within a team of specialists.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting client meetings and preparation of tax returns, BAS and IAS for individuals and a variety of business structures
  • Financial statement preparation and reporting
  • Preparation of management reports
  • Developing client relationships with a diverse group of clients, including face to face meetings with clients
  • Assist with preparing proactive and tailored business and strategic tax advice
Qualifications
  • 3+ years prior tax and business services experience in an Australian Accounting Practice
  • Progressing or completed CA or CPA
  • Able to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent English skills both written and oral
