Senior Accounts Receivable Officer

  • $80,000 - $85,000 + super | Sydney CBD, 2000 | Flexibility Working From home

We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to manage the AR function for a high-growth, globally recognised business. You'll be the go-to person for managing domestic and international debtor accounts, streamlining processes, and collaborating with key internal teams to ensure a smooth collections cycle.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee and manage the full Accounts Receivable process, including follow-ups on overdue payments.

  • Handle complex customer queries and work closely with both local and international clients to resolve discrepancies.

  • Generate and maintain AR aging reports and support the broader finance team with cash flow forecasting.

  • Liaise regularly with the Sales team to review outstanding accounts and ensure alignment.

  • Reconcile the AR ledger to maintain accuracy across all accounts and allocations.

  • Assist with month-end closing, audits, and ad hoc finance projects as needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior-level Accounts Receivable, ideally with exposure to international operations.

  • Strong understanding of AR processes, accounting principles, and reconciliations.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing accounts.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills - you're confident dealing with clients across different regions and time zones.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and follow through.

  • Experience with ERP system is a bonus
