Renowned for academic excellence, the College offers dynamic co- and extra-curricular programs that foster holistic development.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Department on a full time basis.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will take ownership of the revenue function for our three Early Learning Centres, including:Fortnightly billing to families and Centrelink Fee collection and account query resolution Family account setup and maintenance Revenue forecasting for accounting income and cash flow Payment plan setup and maintenance Monthly direct debit processing Accounts receivable reporting You will also support the College's broader revenue and accounts receivable function:Maintaining accurate accounts receivable records Monitoring and collecting outstanding fees Processing charges, refunds, and adjustments Responding to family queries via the finance inbox Daily bank reconciliations Additionally, you'll assist with general finance tasks:Month-end and year-end processes, including budgeting and audit support Early Learning Centre system rollover preparation Backup support for expense and accounts payable functions Participation in process and system improvement initiatives To succeed in this role, you will bring:Experience in a finance team, with a focus on accounts receivable Accounting qualifications (preferred) Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience with multiple finance systems Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) High attention to detail, time management, and reliability Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Commitment to confidentiality and integrity Why join Moriah College?Above award salary Professional development opportunities Additional leave for Jewish High Holy Days Staff wellbeing program (EAP, flu shots, salary sacrifice options) Access to Fitness Passport Flexible work-from-home arrangements (during term and non-term time) Convenient location near Bondi Junction transport hub Application process:To apply for this position, you will need to be an Australian Citizen/Resident/have a current Australian Work Visa.In your application, please include a cover letter and your CV.Referees will be requested during interview stage.Any offer of employment will be subject to background checks and child protection screening.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Appointment may be made prior to expiry of this advert.We are not accepting applicants from Agencies without express request.Moriah College provides a dynamic working environment where staff are valued, and students are committed to learning.
