About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About the role

This fixed term position has been funded by the Barwon Health Foundation through the Sharing Tulli's Smile Fund. The purpose of the role is to provide high quality, evidenced-based, flexible and responsive music therapy services to inpatients of Barwon Health's Paediatric units. This new music therapy position will continue the initiative of Sharing Tulli's Smile to provide therapeutic use of music to support our paediatric patients and their carers to improve their health, functioning and well-being during their inpatient admission. There will be opportunity for individual and structured group therapy sessions.
