Join to apply for the Quality Improvement Coordinator role at Chobani Australia
Inspired by Australia's great people and amazing foodie culture, Chobani USA purchased the Gippsland Dairy brand alongside Chobani, to form Chobani Australia in 2011. Flash forward 14 years and Chobani is Australia's #1 yogurt brand, living in the hearts (and tummies) of fans across the country.
At Chobani it's always been about more than yogurt. Access to delicious and nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege, Chobani's purpose as a leading food and drink manufacturer is to use their platforms, their resources and their influence to bridge that gap, to make a difference in the fight against food insecurity.
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about upholding Quality standards and love working with others to coach and support them along the way? We've got an exciting opportunity for a Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our Quality team at Chobani's Dandenong South manufacturing site.
In this hands-on, on-site role, you'll be part of the team that will roll out and lead Quality standards across the site, with the freedom to shape and improve processes that keep our products top-notch. Working Monday to Friday from 1–9.30pm, you'll play a key role in helping us level up how we do things – from reducing risk and driving continuous improvement to smashing our Right First Time (RFT) targets.
You'll take the lead on one of our key Quality Programs and get stuck into everything from managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), resolving customer complaints, and supporting new product development (NPD), to partnering with the Factory to coach and embed best Quality practices across the board.
What we're looking for:
• A background in Quality roles within food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Solid experience in root cause analysis and resolving non-conformances
• Strong skills in spotting trends, analysing Quality data, and anticipating roadblocks
• A collaborative approach with great coaching skills to bring everyone along for the ride
• A genuine passion for raising the bar and driving best-in-class Quality standards
• A degree in food science, microbiology, food safety or similar
If you're proactive, detail-savvy, and love finding better ways to do things, this role is right up your alley. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, influence change, and guide others on the continuous improvement journey.
At Chobani, we're all about people who bring energy, passion, and positivity to work each day, and you'll join our tight-knit crew of 'CHO-Peeps' who love what they do and help us keep making delicious and quality food made with heart
At Chobani, social responsibility is in our DNA and that means you will be joining an organisation that is constantly seeking to make a difference for the community, people, and planet. Chobani offers free parking, a wellbeing program and a great rewards and recognition program.
