The role

We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Domestic Assistants across Anketell, Aubin Grove, Beeliar, Coogee, Hamilton Hill, Hammond Park, Henderson, Munster, Spearwood, Wandi, Wattleup. We have a casual role available. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday–Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm. Our Domestic Assistants support clients to undertake domestic tasks in the home as outlined in the care/support plan, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain independence where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic tasks such as making beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping, with some social support in the community. Domest ic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously via a mobile app will be essential.

Servicing the following suburbs: Anketell, Aubin Grove, Beeliar, Coogee, Hamilton Hill, Hammond Park, Henderson, Munster, Spearwood, Wandi, Wattleup. (Only successful applicants residing in the above suburbs will be contacted.)

About you

• 3–6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience
• A valid Drivers' Licence with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, will be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
