About the Role

As the Communications Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our client's communications strategy, driving internal and external messaging across multiple platforms. Working with cross-functional teams, you will play an instrumental role in promoting the organization's mission, supporting marketing efforts, and managing communications that engage stakeholders, employees, and customers alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Messaging Strategy: Ensure the consistency and effectiveness of the organization's tone, voice, and brand across all communication streams.
  • Internal Communications: Enhance employee engagement through timely and impactful communications regarding initiatives, projects, and company updates.
  • Media Relations: Serve as the point of contact for media inquiries and cultivate strong relationships with industry publishers.
  • Project Management: Coordinate communications for events, product launches, and marketing campaigns directly tailored to the industrial sector.
  • Analytics: Track and analyse the effectiveness of communications efforts, presenting actionable insights for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or corporate messaging (preferably in the industrial sector).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the industrial sector and ability to translate technical information into accessible messaging.
  • Proficiency in communication platforms (e.g., Content Management Systems, graphic editing tools, and social media platforms).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A proactive mindset, adaptability, and eagerness to work in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience coordinating communications for manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of AP style or equivalent writing standards.
  • Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
