
District Nurse Coordinator

The District Nurse Coordinator is to provide clinical leadership in our organisation and the community through the development and implementation of an integrated and comprehensive District Nursing Service across the Alpine Shire. The District Nurse Coordinator will give effect to leadership, innovation, improvement and the pursuit of best practice services. The role will include the operational management of the service, including supporting human resources, change management and ensuring safer care outcomes.
The District Nurse Coordinator demonstrates a high level of knowledge of clinical practice, coordinating professional and collaborative health services consistent with the clinical, strategic and operational objectives of Alpine Health.
Opportunity for the right candidate to receive training prior to commencing the role.
What We Are Looking For- Demonstrated experience in leading a team to foster the exchange of ideas and broad participation in the achievement of service plan objectives
- High level interpersonal skills, communication and a commitment to consultation
- Effectively works in partnership
- Successful management of and contribution to organisation performance and reporting requirements
- Experience and knowledge of working in rural areas
- Demonstrated experience in planning and managing service delivery, including budgets, financial management and activity reporting
- Experience in understanding and responding to community need
