Responsibilities

  • Create a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
  • Develop and implement quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
  • Use inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
  • Analyse student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and staff and contribute to school life.
  • Provide student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Can monitor and assess student learning data and use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.
  • Demonstrates commitment to contributing to a broad range of school activities and reflects on and improves professional knowledge in a learning team.
  • Willing to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation.
  • Can develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect, patience and understanding.
  • Has up-to-date knowledge of NESA and Australian Curriculum requirements.
