OverviewManage remediation projects including blast & paint, concrete repair and structural integrity from initial setup through to completion for Duratec's tier 1 mining clients.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
- Involvement with tendering/estimation
- Travel to mine sites and support team
- Client and stakeholders management
- Manage self perform crews and improve efficiencies
- Manage multiple projects
- Create and modify ITPs and SWMS
- Raise RFIs and track responses
- You are a positive front-line leader with approximately 5 years of on-site management experience
- Experience in mining, plant maintenance and shutdowns
- Experience in blast and paint, concrete repair and other remediation projects
- Ability to coordinate and deliver complex shutdowns of works
- Program and planning skills
- Proficiency in managing budgets and cost control
- Exceptional stakeholder management and subcontractor management
- White Card
- Driver's Licence
- Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering
