Warringal Private Hospital is seeking a Theatre Technician to work as part of their Theatre Team.

We have a permanent full-time opportunity and casual positions available Your duties in this role will include:

• Prepping surgical theatres for a variety of different procedures
• Performing cleaning and sterilising duties
• Assisting in the theatres where required by other clinical staff
• Maintaining surgical equipment and implements
• Transporting and supporting theatre patients.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.

You will also bring:

• 3 years minimum Tech experience within an operating theatre (Essential)
• Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent (Essential)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a diverse team
• The flexibility to work a rotating roster
• Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures

Remuneration

A base hourly rate of $35.75 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Theatre Technician Gr3)
