What you'll do?

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue generation. This role oversees all marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, communications, product marketing, and market research.

The CMO provides visionary leadership to align marketing efforts with Compnow's strategic objectives, while fostering innovation, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Develop and lead Compnow's overall marketing strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Build and strengthen brand identity and market positioning across all channels.
• Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance. This includes a Brand Manager, Events Manager, and Vendor Alliance Manager.
• Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency, creativity, and effectiveness.
• Drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, email marketing, content strategy, and social media.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
• Manage marketing budgets and ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and executive teams to align marketing efforts with company priorities.
• Report regularly to the CEO and executive team on key marketing metrics and strategic initiatives.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for brand partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic alliances.
  
  

What you'll bring?

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in senior marketing leadership roles - experience within the IT, technology, or MSP sector is highly desirable but not required.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies that drive lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Strong track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams in fast-paced, technical environments.
• Expertise in digital marketing channels including SEO/SEM, paid media, marketing automation, and content strategy.
• Creative flair combined with a practical, data-driven mindset.
• High-level leadership and team development capabilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

What else do you need to apply?

• Start within a 4-week time frame, ideally
• Travel on-site to our office in Notting Hill and nationally as part of the role.
• Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions
  
  

Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
