The Role

John Forrest SC is ideally seeking outstanding Mathematics Teachers who have a deep understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and a strong commitment to high-impact teaching practices that drive improved student outcomes. Suitable applicants should ideally be experienced in designing and delivering engaging, well-structured learning experiences that promote creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or General courses is highly regarded. Suitable applicants would ideally believe in the potential of every student to succeed, use evidence-based, highly effective teaching strategies and display a commitment to continuous growth through reflective practice. Suitable applicants should be skilled at providing differentiated and relevant learning opportunities that cater to the diverse needs, strengths, and backgrounds of all students. Eligibility

• hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
• apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
