As Managing Director, you will lead and grow this region, leveraging your expertise in construction claims and disputes to navigate challenges in contract disputes, litigation, arbitration, and mediation with a hands-on approach.

This demanding role combines leadership and business development with hands-on expert witness work. You will assist clients in resolving contractual issues, mitigating risk, and improving project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an independent expert witness, providing testimony in high-value disputes and arbitrations.
  • Lead a team of dispute resolution professionals, driving strategic growth through business development and client relationship management.
  • Represent main contractors, law firms, and employers in complex construction projects and large-scale disputes.
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and development of high-performing staff to support business expansion.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Delay Expert Witness, with testifying and cross-examination experience.
  • Ability to secure expert appointments and build a dispute work pipeline.
  • Leadership experience and success in developing new business in the expert witness or consultancy sectors.
  • Background in complex construction projects and large-scale disputes, ideally internationally.
  • Strong industry network and excellent communication skills in English.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • Degree qualified, with Chartered status preferred.
  • MSc in Construction Law or LLM, either achieved or in progress, highly preferred.
