About the opportunity:

We are currently looking foran experienced Production Operator to join ourClayton site . In this role, you will perform in our production and slicing areas, which includes ensuring our production targets and compliance processes are met. With a core focus on the health & safety culture here at Goodman Fielder , this role will also require you to follow health and safety procedures whilst carrying out a variety of tasks in the production and slicing areas.

Opportunities currently exist for:

• Week one: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week two: Monday, Thursday and Friday
• Working a 12 hour shift - Midnight to 12.15pm

You will be responsible for:

• Operati on of machinery and equipment as per safe operating procedures
• Executes s tart - up procedure and machine/equipment set ups, operational processes and cleaning processes correctly .
• Ensure all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time frames .
• Complete Quality Assurance and Food safety Induction and Competency quality assessment. Attend all relevant training programs .
• Achieve AERR and Waste on target .
• Active participation and attend ance of weekly, monthly departmental meetings

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Effective verbal and written communication
• Practice and display Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Health and Safety standards
• Quality awareness
• Previous food industry experience or machine operation/process work is desirable
