The roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Melbourne back-end Major Projects and Construction team working with Partners, Steve O'Reilly, Alison Close and Sean Kelly.This role has a high level of client interaction and will see you managing client relationships and shaping the strategic direction of matters.
We act on government infrastructure procurement and a range of private sector projects across Australia, particularly in the energy and transport sectors.
In addition to running complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution, our back-end team works closely with the front-end of the practice to support our clients on project delivery and contract management issues.Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience as a Senior Associate with solid dispute resolution experience A drive to provide outstanding service with attention to detail and problem solving skills Ambition and a proactive approach to your work and mentoring junior staff, be resilient and a self-starter The ability to interact confidently with our clients and build meaningful relationships The desire to work as part of close-knit, collaborative and high-performing team In our Major Projects and Construction practice, you will find:Be part of a team and community at the forefront of development of construction law in Australia Partners with collaborative and supportive leadership styles, with a genuine understanding of flexibility and how to balance high performance with a down-to-earth and pragmatic approach to work and life.
