IT Officer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT department. This entry-level role is ideal for someone currently studying towards a qualification in Information Technology or a related field. No formal IT qualifications are required—just a willingness to learn, follow instructions, and support the IT team in day-to-day operations.

A permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position is available for an entry-level IT Officer to start as soon as possible.

1. Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, documenting and prioritizing issues based on severity and impact.
2. Provide initial troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues for staff and students, including software, hardware, and network problems.
3. Perform basic data entry and updates in various systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with school policies.
4. Maintain clear and effective communication with end-users, providing status updates and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
5. Create and maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and processes for future reference and analysis.
6. Work closely with other IT staff to escalate more complex issues and ensure timely resolutions.

• Committed Christian, active in their own church.
